Facts
- I found this camera when I was visiting my grandma.
Turns out, it used to belong to my uncle
. I asked my aunt if I could borrow it — she said yes, it had just been sitting in a box. She was happy that someone would finally use it!
- In the box,
I found two cameras: this one and an Olympus.
The Olympus was quite similar to the Skina (page in work) I already had. I chose the Praktica because it has red-eye reduction and a data imprint feature
— it prints the date on the photos! So I borrowed it.
- When I got home, I put in two AA batteries and found that the camera worked perfectly — except for the data print. The small screen for the data didn't work. I was scared it was broken, but then I noticed some screws. After opening it, I found a CR2025 battery inside.
Turns out, the data module has its own power source! After replacing it, the screen works again.
I haven't tested it with film yet, though.
The element which pushing film was kinda broken
, but i'm glued it. It steel needs careful use. You need to smoothly close the camera, when switching the film
No photos yet... (I'm filming rn)
